My services
As a doula, I provide emotional support to both you and your partner before, during, and after your birth. In addition to this, I will provide ante-natal education and post-natal support.

During your ante-natal classes, I will cover a range of topics including pain management, positions for labour and the role of Dad. I will also cover the differences of birthing overseas and what you can expect from hospital services here in the UAE. I will strive to ensure you are able to make well informed choices during your labour. As your doula, my support will be unwavering, and I will fully respect your choices. I will listen to your concerns and encourage you to follow your instincts. I am a big believer in women being born with all they need to birth their babies as long as the support they receive is positive and unending. As your postnatal doula, I will provide you with information if you have any feeding or sleeping problems with your baby, and again, reassure, encourage and comfort you if you need it.

My qualifications and experience
I trained with Nurturing Birth in November 2009 and Certified in June 1010.
I am a certified Breastfeeding Peer Counsellor.
I am also training with DONA International, the main US Doula-training organisation to become a globally recognised Doula.
I have been very honoured to attend many wonderful births and have many more scheduled.

About me
I have lived in Dubai for over 2 years now and I have two children of my own, a little boy (Oscar born in the UK in 2007) and a little girl (Maisie born in Dubai in 2009). I had my husband and sister at my first birth and my husband and a Doula at my second birth. I am a true believer in having a dedicated birth partner. I absolutely love being a Doula and am frequently in awe of the amazing ladies I watch bringing their darling babies into the world. I genuinely believe having a Doula at your birth will help make you feel more empowered and to believe in yourself and your ability to birth
your way.
