My services
I am looking for work either in the UK or overseas as a live-in post natal doula. If you'd like some support when your baby arrives, so that you can rest and enjoy the transition to motherhood with a helping hand from someone who understands and is flexible enough to help out where it's needed most, please get in touch. I will come and stay in your home from the day baby arrives until you feel you've recuperated following the birth and are happy that you and your family have adjusted to your exciting new life with baby.

My qualifications and experience
I've spent many years helping out friends with babies, and therefore completed Nurturing Birth's Birth & Postnatal Doula' Course, and an Ofsted recognised Pediatric First Aid Course run by Harmony at Home in 2010.
Since that time, I have worked with several mums, including one with a precious baby conceived by IVF, another with a baby born seven weeks premature, and also with a mother living on the Costa Tropical in Spain.
I am a member of both Nurturing Birth and Doula UK, and am currently working towards recognition with Doula UK.

About me
I believe my greatest strength is the fact that I have two grown up children and two lively young grandchildren (I was a child bride!). I therefore really understand how it feels to have a new baby, with all the joy and challenges they bring. I also appreciate that your hormones can cause havoc at this time, and just how tired you can feel after even the most wonderful birth.
