My services
I offer 3 birth packages.

All 3 packages have 2 antenatal visits and 1 post-natal visit.
The first package includes attending the birth.
The second is for labouring at home only and not the birth.
The third does not include labouring or attending the birth.

I’ve designed the second 2 packages so that couples that would like their birth to be a private time, with just each other may do so.
I believe the job of a doula is to empower a woman, to birth her baby herself with or without a doula present, although having the right support during birth can make the world of a difference!

For my postnatal services I request mothers to inform me of what they require from me, as the list of what I can do, can be endless.
However listed below are some of the things I don't do.

I don’t:
Walk or maintain pets (except fish)
Do school runs that require transportation but can do local walking runs.
Do shopping due to transportation but I can pack away shopping after a delivery.
Do ironing.

My first job as a doula (I wasn’t trained as I didn’t know what one was) was with a friend who had 3 children all by caesarean section, she really wanted to have a natural birth with her fourth child. I believed that she had never birthed in the right environment or had enough support and decided to attend her birth. She successfully went on to have a vaginal birth after 3 caesarean sections (VBA3C).

I myself have had 3 caesarean sections and struggled to breastfeed my first 5 children due lack of knowledge. I successfully breastfed my 6th child after I self-diagnosis myself with thrush, which I believed I suffered from with all my other 5 children.

I come from a very large family who could only help me so much and you’ll be surprised how many people are out of touch with breastfeeding and are unable to offer support.

I hope to support women in a time when they (may) feel most vulnerable and confused with all of the advice they may receive, that comes without support, as well as aid them in the choices they make for themselves and their new addition.

About me
I’m a married mother of six (5 girls, one boy) and I live in Riyadh. I have a pattern of vaginal, caesarean, vaginal, caesarean with all my children, resulting in 3 vaginal births and 3 caesareans.

I like to keep myself busy, especially with the community. I home educate my 6 kids, so a lot of my time is spent at home.
I converted to Islam 11 years ago and enjoy being part of a multicultural faith.
I’ve always wanted to be involved with births as I found myself and friends being unhappy with our births, but wasn’t sure how I could be involved.
Finding out about being a doula sounded just perfect for me as I didn’t want to deliver the babies but I enjoyed supporting them through their different walks of life, especially birth.
