Terms and conditions of use

The Doula Directory aims to provide expecting parents with information about doulas working in their area. The Doula Directory shall not be used towards any other aims.

Although Nurturing Birth and/or Goedkoop Publishing (We) will not be liable for services offered by doulas on the Directory, we will make sure that the doulas listed here have signed and abide by the Nurturing Birth (NB) Code of Practice.

Use of the Doula Directory does not provide any direct or indirect guarantees for parents who hire the services of a doula through the Doula Directory.

If there are reasons to believe a doula has breached the code of practice, this should be reported in writing to Nurturing Birth who will investigate. We do not accept anonymous complaints. Doulas who have been found in breach of the code of practice will get a warning or/and will be struck off the Directory.

We will always ensure that the information on the Directory accurately reflects the information provided to us and is updated as soon as possible.

Nurturing Birth and/or Goedkoop Publishing do not accept any liability resulting from the services offered by doulas who appear on the Directory, or from the information contained in the Directory.

We reserve the right to alter the form and contents of the Directory at any time.

We reserve the right to decline applications to the Directory.

All intellectual property rights, including copyright, patents, design rights and know-how relating to the Doula Directory remain the sole property of Nurturing Birth and/or Goedkoop Publishing.

All doulas listed are required to observe and abide by the Nurturing Birth Code of Practice and any other regulations as set out by Nurturing Birth and Goedkoop Publishing.

The information on the completed Directory form are intended to form a complete statement of the agreement between the Directory applicant and Nurturing Birth and/or Goedkoop Publishing.
